Ohio Dominican to Host Life of the Mind Series Lecture with Speaker Scott Steinkerchner, OP

COLUMBUS, OH – Scott Steinkerchner, O.P. will be the keynote speaker for Ohio Dominican University’s Life of the Mind Series Lectures on February 5 at 7:00 p.m. in the Colonial Room of Sansbury Hall, located on ODU’s main campus, 1216 Sunbury Road.  His presentation will focus on Promoting the Search for Truth via the Internet.

This event is sponsored by ODU’s Center for Dominican Studies, the Dominican Life of the Mind Series provides several opportunities through out the school year for the community to come together and reflect upon the events that shape our culture.

Currently serving as a visiting professor of Inter-religious Theology at Aquinas Institute and a Dominican of the Central Province of the Order of Preachers, Steinkerchner has many accomplishments. He is a Fulbright Scholar with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Coop, from the University of Akron, an M.A. in Theology and M.Div. from Aquinas Institute from St. Louis, Missouri, and a PhD in Systemic Theology from Boston College.  Being the Promoter General for the Internet for the Dominican Order Steinkerchner will explain how to promote the search for truth via the ever-expanding internet.
