Ohio Dominican University's Winter Commencement



On Saturday, December 13, 2008, Ohio Dominican University welcomed hundreds of family and friends for the 90th Commencement Ceremony at Alumni Hall on ODU’s main campus (1216 Sunbury Road, Columbus) where over 200 individuals received their degrees - associates, bachelors and masters.

ODU’s Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of Faculty Dr. Mary Todd presided over the ceremony. ODU President Dr. Brian Nedwek provided welcome remarks and greetings as well as conferral of degrees for the graduates. Community business leader Mr. Curtis J. Moody received an honorary degree and provided the commencement address. ODU graduate Margaret E. Kiechel-Paolacci (Bachelor of Science in Education) addressed the graduating class as senior speaker and ODU student Jessica Carrier (Class of 2009) sung the Alma Mater and National Anthem.
