Ohio Dominican University Announces New Art Exhibition and Holiday Art Market



COLUMBUS, OHIO - Ohio Dominican University’s new art exhibit entitled Method and Material: The Encaustic Paintings of Todd Camp opens from Sunday, November 23 to January 16. Todd Camp uses the ancient technique of encaustic, in which pigment is suspended in beeswax and applied to a support, in works which address the complexity of life in the 21st century.

The Gallery is open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Admission is free. The Wehrle Gallery is in Wehrle Hall on Ohio Dominican University's main campus, 1216 Sunbury RD, Columbus OH 43219.

Ohio Dominican will also host the Seventh Annual Wehrle Hall Holiday art Market, from December 1 thru December 5.  ODU Art Department faculty and students showcase their talents in the university’s annual Holiday Art Market. Jewelry, metalwork, stained glass, painting, prints, ceramics and more are available for purchase. Proceeds from the sale benefit the artists and the ODU Palette Club. The hours for the art market will be from 10:00 am to 4 pm daily and cash and check accepted (no credit cards). Admission is free to the market.
