Ohio Dominican University Welcomes New Enrollment Director of Adult Degree Program

COLUMBUS, OH – Ohio Dominican University (ODU) welcomes Marianne Fingado as director of enrollment for the university’s adult degree program,  LEAD  (Learning Enhanced Adult Degree). She will begin her official duties on March 1, 2010.

As the Director of Enrollment, Ms. Fingado will provide leadership and mentoring for the LEAD enrollment, marketing and accounting team. She will work closely with traditional ODU staff to enhance Catholic and business community relations with marketing efforts for the LEAD program as well as work closely with military, veterans and building the Catholic student population.

Prior to ODU, Marianne was the Director of Enrollment for three locations at St. Gregory's University (SGU) in Tulsa, Oklahoma City and Shawnee, Oklahoma. During her five year tenure at St. Gregory's, the university consistently succeeded in surpassing enrollment, tuition revenue and tuition revenue goals.

Prior to SGU she was an Enrollment manager and business development director at Cornerstone University in Troy, Michigan. Both schools are members of the CAAHE (Consortium for the Advancement of Adult Higher Education). Preceding her career with those institutions, she was employed with Management Recruiters, Inc in Columbus Ohio, where she worked with teams to place candidates with retail organizations and managed a $6 million start-up recruiting project.

She served 10 years as a member of the United States Marine Corps earning two Navy achievement medals. Fingado earned a Master of Science in Adult Education from the University of Phoenix and a bachelor's of Science in Business Management from Northwood University.

ODU’s LEAD program is designed for working adults to help them overcome obstacles in education.
