Her strong combination of work experience and education make Ohio Dominican University’s (ODU’s) new Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving a perfect fit for the role.

Ann Snider graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication, which provided a solid foundation for her career. She is well versed in the duties of Alumni Relations, as she worked in both Arizona State University’s and Capital University’s law schools. She also gained experience from her time working in Alumni Affairs at Denison University.

“The depth and breadth of Ann’s knowledge and experience with alumni relations and annual giving is remarkable,” said Murley Miller, the university’s Associate Vice President of Advancement. “Through her experiences and actions, Ann’s proving to be an asset to Ohio Dominican University’s Advancement office. We’re delighted that she has joined our team.”

Snider has quickly transitioned to her position with ODU where she leads initatives and programs for the Alumni Office, plans events with the Alumni Association, manages the department’s communications and publications, recruits volunteers to assist with the outreach programs, and supports the Alumni Association Council. “I’m excited to be working alongside the entire ODU community, especially during their Centennial,” Snider said. “I am most looking forward to connecting ODU alumni back to their alma mater and working closely with them as they plan their reunions.”
