Damon Owens is a speaker and educator of the Theology of the Body Institute located outside of Philadelphia.
The Institute is dedicated to training and educating - men and women to live, teach and share Pope John Paul II’s teachings on the human person. The Pope’s teachings are known as the theology of the body or TOB.
Damon Owens is also the founder of Joy‐Filled Marriage New Jersey, a non‐profit organization providing training, resources, and support for engaged and married couples. Damon and his wife serve as NFP Program Coordinators for the Archdiocese of Newark, New Jersey, and are founders of the New Jersey Natural Family Planning Association. Damon keeps a full speaking schedule here in the US and abroad. He speaks at conferences, parish adult faith formation events, marriage seminars, seminaries, and young adult gatherings on the good news of sexuality and Theology of the Body. Damon has published numerous articles and appears frequently on EWTN, most notably as guest commentator reporting LIVE from the March for Life each January. He has hosted several TV series and has also appeared on ABC World News Tonight, CBS News 48 Hours, BET Evening News, and National Public Radio. Damon currently lives in New Jersey with his wife Melanie, and their eight children.
