ODU Honors Scholar Students at Luncheon

Ohio Dominican University will host its Scholarship Luncheon at 11:00 a.m. on February 11, 2012. The luncheon will recognize the University’s 2011-2012 academic award recipients. Students and their families are invited to the luncheon, which will take place in Sansbury Hall’s Colonial Room on ODU’s main campus, 1216 Sunbury Road, Columbus, Ohio 43219.

Ohio Dominican alumnus Zach King will be the keynote speaker. King holds a leadership position with the Columbus office of DaVita, a Fortune 500 company and leading provider of kidney care in the United States. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 2009 and his MBA in 2010. King credits Ohio Dominican’s rigorous academics and extracurricular opportunities with helping him excel in his career.

During the luncheon, the scholar students will meet their classmates and speak with faculty members. Afterward, students and their families are invited to attend the afternoon men’s and women’s basketball games as the ODU Panthers compete against the University of Findley Oilers.

Ohio Dominican University is a private liberal arts institution, founded in 1911 in the Catholic and Dominican tradition. The University has 2,600 students.
