OHIO DOMINICAN UNIVERSITY TO HOST SECOND ANNUAL NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY CONFERENCE
Columbus, OH (43219) – Ohio Dominican University will host the Second Annual National Honor Society (NHS) Conference from 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., Friday, March 16, 2012, on ODU’s main campus, 1216 Sunbury Road, Columbus, Ohio 43219. The conference is an excellent opportunity for NHS student members and advisors to grow their academic skills, network with other chapters, learn from outstanding speakers and participate in a variety of team-building activities.
The Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators and the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) also sponsor this event. Reservations are required. Registration forms are available on Ohio Dominican’s website, www.ohiodominican.edu/nhs/.
The conference will feature a national office speaker, Elancia Felder, Program Manager for Honor Societies, NASSP. Advisors will benefit from Ms. Felder’s presentation regarding Chapter policies, induction policies, as well as management practices within the chapter. Student attendees will participate in sessions on improving school spirit, strengthening their chapter, and coordinating service activities.
