Ohio Dominican University Hires New Media and Marketing Communications Manager
Columbus, OH – Award-winning journalist Thomas Brockman has joined Ohio Dominican University (ODU) as the new Media and Marketing Communications Manager in the University’s Office of Public Relations and Communications. Brockman will play a key role in promoting ODU’s academic programs and community involvement as the 100-year-old institution begins its second century.
Brockman has nearly a decade of media experience. He spent the previous five years as a television news reporter with NBC4 (WCMH) in Columbus, Ohio. Prior to that, he served in the same role for CBS9 (WNCT) in Greenville, North Carolina. Stories he has covered range from natural disasters to presidential elections.
“I am extremely excited to join the Ohio Dominican University family,” Brockman said. “I look forward to experiencing and advancing the image, message and tradition of ODU. There are great people with great stories on campus and I intend to share those stories so people who live throughout Central Ohio and beyond can learn more of what ODU is about.”
Brockman holds a Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies from the University of Mount Union in Alliance, Ohio, where he also studied political science. Tom and his family reside in Hilliard.

Ohio Dominican University is a four-year private liberal arts institution, founded in 1911 in the Catholic and Dominican tradition.
