Bishop Campbell to Officiate Confirmation Celebration at Ohio Dominican University
Columbus, OH (43219) – Ohio Dominican University (ODU) is excited to welcome the Most Reverend Frederick F. Campbell, D.D., Ph.D., to its campus to officiate a Confirmation Celebration for students, staff, alumni and friends. The Celebration will take place at 3:30 p.m., April 4 in Christ the King Chapel in Sansbury Hall, located on ODU’s main campus, 1216 Sunbury Road, Columbus, 43219.
Bishop Campbell will baptize ODU students Ashley Swartz and Andrew Swisher. Additionally, Swartz and Swisher, along with alumna Britainy Cupach, staff member Ginny Engwall and Josh Watson, a friend of the University, will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.
“To celebrate a person’s ‘journey of faith’ is always a privilege, so we are grateful to those who will be receiving the Sacraments of Baptism and Confirmation that they have chosen to share their journeys with the Ohio Dominican University community,” said University Chaplain and Director of Campus Ministry Fr. Richard Gross, S.J. “We wish them every grace and blessing as they continue forward. As always it is a privilege to mark such important occasions with the presence of Bishop Campbell.”
The ODU Chorus will provide the music for the celebration.
