Ohio Dominican University Student-athletes Recognized for Academic Achievements
Columbus, OH (43219) – Three student-athletes from Ohio Dominican University (ODU) are being recognized for their academic achievements in the field of Finance.
ODU senior Kevin Hartoin and juniors Matt Jurevicious and Chase Westphal were honored during Financial Executives International’s annual Education Night, held April 10 on ODU’s main campus, located at 1216 Sunbury Road, Columbus, 43219.
Hartoin, Jurevicious and Westphal were joined at the event by ODU Division of Business faculty; Ken Fah, Ph.D., associate professor of Economics and Business; Anna Parkman, Ph.D., associate professor of Management and Organizational Behavior; and Tony Emanuel, assistant professor of Finance.
“I, along with the entire division of Business faculty, am extremely proud of the accomplishments of these three student-athletes,” said Professor Emanuel. “They have demonstrated an exceptional ability to balance their studies and commitment to ODU athletics, and I am thrilled that they are being recognized for their hard work inside and outside of the classroom.
Hartoin, Jurevicious and Wesphal were selected for their high GPA, and were among 30 Central Ohio students recognized at the event.
Ohio Dominican University is a four-year private comprehensive liberal arts and master’s institution, founded in 1911 in the Catholic Dominican tradition. The University has approximately 2,700 students and offers undergraduate degrees in 42 majors as well as seven graduate degree programs.
