ODU Senior Artists and Designers Open THREAD Exhibit
Columbus, OH – Ohio Dominican University (ODU) senior Art and Design students opened their exhibit, THREAD – The Human Reaction: Experience Art & Design, at a reception held from 5-7 p.m., April 27, 2013 in the Wehrle Art Gallery, located in Wehrle Hall on ODU’s main campus, 1216 Sunbury Road, Columbus, 43219.
THREAD is a collaboration of artists and designers, connected by the desire to explore human reaction. These individual works intertwine personal discoveries, experiences and processes to analyze, direct or express various elements of how our actions and reactions shape life for ourselves and others.
The show is scheduled to run through June 1.
THREAD features senior artists’ and designers’ works which utilize a variety of materials, including traditional and nontraditional media, 2-D and 3-D fiber arts, visual identity design and website designs.
Contributing artists include Allison Anthony, Taylor Bonner, Paula M. Brown, Damien Capretta, Danielle D'Onghia, Tina M. Esken, Ross W. Gibson, Kari Landis, Jordan Musall, Dan Petrovski, Megan E. Wharton, Joshua R. Whitlow and Taylor Wray.
The Wehrle Art Gallery is open 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, and by appointment. Admission is free.
