Ohio Dominican University's Spring Programs Pick Up Academic Honors
BAY CITY, Mich. -- Thirty-three Ohio Dominican University spring athletes garnered Academic All-Conference honors, the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced Friday, June 15, 2012.
Ten ODU student-athletes earned Academic Excellence accolades, while 22 landed on the All-Academic Team. The All-Academic Excellence Award reflects those student-athletes who carry a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.50 to 4.00, while the All-Academic Award is for those with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 to 3.49. Freshmen and first-year transfers are not eligible.
Ohio Dominican University is a private liberal arts institution, founded in 1911 in the Catholic and Dominican tradition. The University has nearly 3,000 students and offers undergraduate degrees in more than 40 majors as well as seven graduate degree programs.
