Five Women's Soccer Players Named to OCSA Academic All-Ohio Team
NEW CONCORD, Ohio –Five Ohio Dominican women's soccer players were recently announced to the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association All-Ohio Academic team.

Grabbing First Team nods was sophomore Lauren Pratt (West Chester, Ohio).
Pratt earned a 3.96 as a Sport Management major. She also earned OCSA First Team All-Ohio honors, as well as being named to the NSCAA/Continental Tire Midwest Second Team, and to the Daktronics Midwest Region. Pratt also earned GLIAC Second Team honors. She started in all 18 games and was tied for first on the team with seven goals. She ended the season with a team-high six assists.
Grabbing second team honors were juniors Laura Clark (Lapeer, Mich.), Broegan Sautter (Bellville, Ohio), Jordan Mazzi (Galena, Ohio), and sophomore Sydney Simpson (Avon, Ohio).
Clark earned a 3.28 GPA in Sport Management. She earned OCSA Second Team honors and was named to the NSCAA/Continental Tire Midwest Third Team. She was selected to the GLIAC Second Team and played in 16 games this season. She ended the season with an 8-5-3 record and had 72 saves and a 1.07 goals against average.
Sautter, a Biology major, earned a 3.70 GPA. She started in all 18 games for ODU, where she scored one goal and recorded two assists. During the postseason, she earned Second Team all GLIAC honors.
Mazzi earned a 3.74 GPA in Social Work. She played in 18 games with 14 starts for ODU, where she scored six goals.
Simpson earned a 3.75 GPA and is an Accounting major. Simpson earned OCSA All-Ohio First Team honors. She ended the 2013 season playing in 16 game with 14 starts and earned GLIAC Second Team honors. She had two goals on the season.
