• Admissions Requirements

    • An applicant with no transfer credit must submit official transcripts of high school graduation or GED prior to consideration for acceptance, and must have graduated from high school or completed a GED three or more years ago. 
    • Transfer credits earned from a regionally accredited college or university or from CLEP, PEP, ACE or other standard evaluations will be accepted under the following conditions: 
      • They are from a post-secondary degree granting institution of higher education accredited by one of the six regional accrediting bodies.
      • They are college level.
      • They reflect a grade of C- or better
    • Previous grade point average of 2.25 or above. (An applicant whose GPA is below 2.25 will be required to complete an admissions interview.) 
    • Two years of recent full-time working experience is required.
    • A TOEFL score of 550 or equivalent electronic score, if applicable. 
    • An application and essay are required along with all official transcripts from accredited colleges and universities attended. 
    • Following the admission decision, an accepted student is urged to meet with an Academic Advisor.

    Online Application - A $25 application fee is due before we can process your application. Payment options include credit card (via phone) and check. You can mail or drop off  your check at the Office of Adult & Continuing Education, Erskine Hall, Suite 105, on ODU's main campus.
