Financial Aid for Graduate Students

Financial aid is available for degree seeking graduate students in the form of Direct Unsubsidized Loans (non-need based). All graduate and professional students are considered independent.  Note that graduate certificate and endorsement program students are not eligible for federal loans.  Private education loans may be available.

In order to qualify, graduate students must be enrolled for at least 3 credit hours and not be in default on any previous student loans.

Applying for Financial Aid 

  1. Complete the FAFSA online at www.fafsa.gov. All graduate students are considered independent for financial aid purposes. Ohio Dominican University’s school code is 003035.
  2. If this is your first time receiving a Direct Loan, complete the Entrance Loan Counseling and Master Promissory Note at www.studentloans.gov.
