Michael Storck came to Ohio Dominican University in 2008 as an assistant professor of philosophy. Before coming to Ohio Dominican, he taught at Magdalen College in New Hampshire. He received his M.A. and Ph.D. from The Catholic University of America, and his B.A. from Christendom College. He offers courses in the history of philosophy, ethics, logic, and philosophy of art. His primary research interest are philosophy of nature, particularly the relation between living things and their parts, and aesthetics, especially the ontology of artworks. In both of these areas, he takes a Thomistic perspective. His publications have appeared in the Review of Metaphysics, the Proceedings of the American Catholic Philosophical Association, the International Philosophical Quarterly, and The Thomist.
