Ohio Dominican University Hosts Free Financial Management Workshop
Columbus, OH – Ohio Dominican University will host a free financial management workshop, “Navigating through Market Volatility and the Road to Recovery,” on Tuesday, January 19, 2010. The event will be held in the second floor conference room of ODU’s Bishop James A. Griffin Student Center, 1216 Sunbury Road (43219). Refreshments will be served from 6:00 to 6:30 p.m. and the program will follow from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

The event will feature a panel of local business professionals and an ODU faculty member that include:

Last October, Ohio Dominican announced a series of financial management workshops entitled “Financial Survival in Today’s Economy.” There were five workshops announced. The first event was Tuesday, November 10, 2009 and focused on “Year-End Tax Planning.”
Future workshops are scheduled for Tuesday, February 16, 2010; Tuesday, March 16, 2010; and Tuesday, April 20, 2010. Future themes include Strategies for Traditional and Roth IRAs, Portfolio Repositioning, Tax Loss Selling, and Managing Capital Gains Distribution.
