The Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) provides services that support academic success and personal development. Our primary goal is to promote a sense of community that enhances the well-being of all students.
These objectives are achieved through advising sessions, referrals to appropriate offices and sponsorship of campus programming designed to educate and foster the exchange of dialogue in a setting where civility and respect is observed.
Ohio Dominican University is proud to be home to a rich and culturally diverse community. We promote diversity and respect through many programs and activities throughout the year.
Through lectures, conferences and a variety of cultural celebrations, we work with students to address cultural diversity in a global society.
Cultural diversity is reflected in the programs and courses that ODU offers including:
ODU is home to many student clubs and organizations that focus on diversity including Amigos Latinos, African Culture Club, Bridges of Diversity, Black Student Union, and the Mila Dance Group.
Ohio Dominican believes that all students should be given the opportunity to learn and experience many cultures while attending the University. Thus, social and cultural programs are designed with the purpose of educating the campus and community. OMA provides events and workshops for celebrations including:
