TESOL Endorsement Admission Requirements

Admission Documentation  

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.  
• An undergraduate cumulative grade point average of 3.000 or higher, or completion of at least nine semester hours at the graduate level from an accredited institution of higher education with an overall grade point average of 3.000 or higher, or score in the 50th percentile or above on each section of the Graduate Record Exam (GRE).  
• A teaching certificate/license. Ohio Dominican University accepts provisional or professional licenses. We do not accept substitute licenses.  
• Acknowledgement statement 
• 500 word essay describing the attitudes and beliefs a teacher should possess to be an effective educator in the 21^st century. 
• Be currently teaching or substitute teaching  
• Official transcripts from every postsecondary institution attended.  
• A graduate application form w/ $25.00 non-refundable application fee
