A system-based study of human anatomy, this course includes a cadaver-based laboratory exploration of human gross anatomy.
Human Development: Lifespan – PSY 224
You don’t have to be a psychology major to take this course. It offers a broad overview of theory, research and applications in human psychological development from conception to death.
Human Physiology – BIO 342
Engage in an examination of the major physiological systems of the body – their functions and integration – which includes the nervous, muscular, endocrine, circulatory, respiratory, renal, digestive and reproductive systems. Laboratory sessions are included.
Microbiology – BIO 227
Study the morphology, physiology and genetics of algae, bacteria, fungi, protozoa and viruses. Lab work emphasizes sterile culture techniques and identifying unknown cultures.
World Religions – THL 343
Get an overview of the major religions of the world – their history, oral traditions and written scriptures. This course also includes the Catholic Church’s perspective on inter-religious dialogue.
