The mission of Ohio Dominican University’s Sport Management Program is founded upon core values of quality, integrity and diversity. Faculty seek to provide students with quality coursework and field experience that assist in contemporary sport management career knowledge, skill and disposition development.
Students choose ODU’s Sport Management major for a variety of reasons, such as a vibrant and challenging classroom experience, established networks between ODU and the sports industry, and a great location for internship opportunities.
Sport Management graduates have extensive classroom knowledge and real world experience that prepare them to enter the workforce. Prior to graduation, students who major in Sport Management must complete a field experience and an internship. In addition to that experience, many classes have a service learning component where students gain hands-on experience in the field.
