• Admission Requirements

    The Office of Admission will consider your application to Ohio Dominican University once it has received all of your materials. This includes:

    1. Completed application for admission.  The application will allow you to tell ODU what academic majors, what school you are currently attending (or have attended) and student activities you are interested in.
    2. Official transcripts. Freshmen. Official transcripts from your high school or GED.  Your high school transcripts should be requested from your Guidance Office.  Make sure the transcripts include the courses you are currently taking.  If you have a GED, you will need to request the scores be sent to ODU.
      Transfer. All transcripts from colleges and/or universities previously attended. High School may be needed if less than 24 semester credits have been completed. 
    3. ACT or SAT test scores (freshmen only). You must take either the ACT or SAT. Our ACT code number is 3256, and our SAT code number is 1131. Make sure you enter the appropriate code number on your test form(s) so we can receive your scores

    Once the Admission Office has received these three items, the Admission Committee will review your file and you will be notified of your admission status within five to ten business days.
