    The Ohio Dominican University Alumni Insurance Program is a convenient source for health life, travel, auto and home insurance for alumni and their family members. There are a variety of plans available to meet your needs, including GradMed short-term health insurance – great for new grads and other alumni seeking temporary coverage.

    Career Development & Guidance

    Ohio Dominican University's Career Development Center has joined a recruiting system provided by ODU JobLine. This service permits students and alumni to search for available full-time and part-time positions and internship opportunities. Positions can be posted directly on the website by approved employers, allowing students and alumni to view job postings and their descriptions. Job postings are assembled into different categories, allowing for easy searches for postings related to the experience and needs of the student or alumni. Online recruiting enables students and alumni to post their resumes online, and search for and apply for employment opportunities.

    Ohio Dominican University is in a consortium with three other area higher education institutions -- Capital University, Wittenberg University and Otterbein College - that are offering this service. As a result of this, employers can advertise their postings to four campuses at once, enabling students and alumni to view postings from more employers. The website allows Ohio, national and international employers to post opportunities, so students and alumni are not limited to Central Ohio job postings.

    Spiritual Needs

    Ohio Dominican's Campus Ministry Office plans and participates in many activities geared toward promoting sprituality and providing opportunities for community outreach.     Transcript Requests

    Alumni can obtain a copy of their transcripts by filling out and mailing or faxing the form to the Business Office, registrar@ohiodominican.edu. See Transcript Information to download the form and read the procedures for ordering official transcripts from Ohio Dominican.

     

    Alumni Audit

    Ohio Dominican alumni may choose to take a course on a space available basis at the University.

    Undergraduate Courses: Any class, providing space is available after all matriculating students have been seated, may be audited without credit for a flat $50 fee, which includes their temporary parking sticker. Books, lab or course fees are additional.

    Graduate Course Policy: Alumni may audit graduate courses for a flat fee of $100 given the following conditions:

    Space is available after all degree-seeking graduate students are registered
    Students have the necessary academic background to participate in the course
    Program director and instructor approved of the audit.
    The auditing alum earns no academic credit, but does gain valuable knowledge for personal and/or professional use. Please call Alumni Relations at (614) 251-4608 for more details or download the Alumni Audit Application Form.

     

    Alumni Library Card

    Alumni of Ohio Dominican may obtain a library card which enables them to use Spangler Library resources free of charge. Most books and other available resources may be borrowed. Use of the multimedia facilities may require additional costs. Please call Alumni Relations at (614) 251-4608 for more information or download the Alumni Library Card Application.

     

    Alumni Guest Network Account

    Alumni of Ohio Dominican may apply for an account to use computers in Spangler Learning Center. This privilege is available for alumni to search for employment, research, and other academic needs and uses. A ODU e-mail account is not available to alumni through this service. Please call the Help Desk at 614-253-3633 for more information.

     Fitness Center

     

    Alumni may use the Fitness Center with an issued membership card (requiring a signed liability waiver) and a picture ID for a current annual cost of $120, subject to change.  Eligibility of membership must be approved by Alumni Office and the forwarded to Business Office for collection of membership fee and issuance od ID card.
