The ODU Homecoming Court is a representation of Panther Pride. Applying to be a member of the Homecoming Court is an opportunity for you to proclaim your school spirit and dedication to the Ohio Dominican community. We encourage all Ohio Dominican students to consider this opportunity. Members of the court will be selected based on their commitment to Ohio Dominican and involvement in the ODU community.

Royal Court Timeline

Wednesday, September 12 - Applications due by Noon
Thursday, September 13 - Application packets distributed to committee for review
Monday, September 17 - Royal Court selected by committee
Tuesday, September 18 - Royal Court announced
Monday, September 24 - Royal Court voting
Tuesday, September 25 - Royal Court voting
Thursday, September 27 - King & Queen announced at Pep Rally
Saturday, September 29 - Royal Court presented at football halftime

Selection Committee

Committee will be comprised of staff members from Student Development and Alumni Relations.  Selected faculty may be contacted to participate as well.

Committee will select a maximum of 5 males and 5 females for Royal Court.

Royal Court Expectations

Royal Court is expected to attend the Homecoming Pep Rally, Homecoming Parade, and football halftime presentation.  Royal Court is strongly encouraged to attend and participate in other Homecoming Weekend events.

Royal Court will receive a Homecoming Royalty sash.  Sashes should be worn at the Pep Rally and football halftime presentation.

Football players and Cheerleaders must consult with respective coaches for permission to participate in football alftime presentation.  A Stand-in must be selected if candidate cannot participate.
