NAIA Championship Ends for Lady Panthers

The Ohio Dominican University Lady Panthers women's basketball team returns from Sioux City, Iowa, after playing in the first round of the 12th Annual NAIA Women's Division II Basketball Championship in Sioux City, Iowa on March 13.
The Lady Panthers put forth their best effort, but unfortunately lost to the Cardinals from William Jewell College (Mo.) 83-78. Leading scorer for the Panthers was junior forward Becky Richter, who had 17 points. Junior guard Amanda Lewis followed with 16. The Lady Panthers end their season with an impressive 26-8 record.
Ohio Dominican University salutes the Lady Panthers, Head Coach Kate Cummings and Assistant Coach Mandy White for an outstanding 2002-2003 season. The University is proud of their competitive spirit and athletic accomplishments.
