Ohio Dominican Names Klein Dean of Retention

COLUMBUS, OH - Ohio Dominican University has appointed Drew Klein as
Dean of Retention for the University. Klein will retain his title and duties
as Vice President for Student Development, while assuming the new duties in
student retention.
In his new role, Klein will work closely with Academic Affairs and Student
Development as well as the entire faculty and staff of the University to develop
and implement programs that will ensure Ohio Dominican University students have
all of the resources necessary to succeed.
In making this appointment, Dr. Jack Calareso, President, stated, "At Ohio
Dominican, the success of each and every student is important. The focus on
student retention reflects our commitment to serving the educational needs of
all of our students."
Klein came to ODU in 2003 from Boston University, where he was assistant dean
of students and prior to that, served as director of fiscal affairs and director
of student activities at the university. He holds a master's degree in College
Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University and a bachelor's degree in
Economics from Williams College, Williamstown, Mass.
