Ohio Dominican Receives MarCom Awards

COLUMBUS, OH - Ohio Dominican University has received a 2004 Platinum Winner
Award and Gold Finalist Award from MarCom Creative Awards. MarCom is an international
competition for marketing and communications professionals involved in the concept,
writing and design of marketing and communication programs and print, visual and audio
materials.
ODU Magazine: The Path to Preeminence received the highest award given --
a Platinum Winner Award -- for excellence in terms of quality, creativity, and
resourcefulness. The online version of the magazine can be found by clicking on
the magazine cover pictured. The magazine was designed by Crit Warren of Solve Et Coagule.
A series of university departmental brochures designed by Conrad, Phillips and
Vutech received a Gold Finalist Award in the Department and Major Brochures category.
MarCom chose winners from among 3,344 entries. The entries were judged by
industry professionals looking for companies and individuals whose talent
exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark
for the industry. MarCom Creative Award winners and finalists are advertising
agencies and public relations firms, corporate communications departments,
educational institutions, government entities, designers, writers, video
production professionals, broadcast and cable operations, and other businesses
and individuals throughout the world.
