Ohio Dominican Names New Dean of Graduate and Continuing Studies

COLUMBUS , OH — Ohio Dominican University has appointed Dr. Fay Ellis Jones as Dean of Graduate and Continuing Education. She Jones comes to ODU after serving nine 9 years as a faculty member in the Education Department of Antioch University in Yellow Springs, Ohio .
In her new role, Dr. Jones will provide leadership and direction for the growth and vitality of the University’s five masters degree programs. She will also have responsibility for the adult learning and degree completion programs, online learning, and other nontraditional and extended educational offerings and initiatives.
“Dr. Jones brings a rich background of experience and ability to her new position of oversight of the University ’s nontraditional and graduate programs. We look forward to welcoming her to Ohio Dominican,” said Dr. Mary Todd, Vice President for of Academic Affairs.
At the time of her departure from Antioch University, Dr. Jones was a p rofessor in Education. Prior to that, she served as director of Antioch’s Center for Professional Development and director of the Weekend College; as and associate professor. Before joining Antioch, Jones was academic administrator for Wilmington College (Delaware); and served as both a department head and assistant professor in the business division of Wesley College (Delaware).
Dr. Jones She earned a doctorate in Human Development from the University of Maryland, a master’s degree in Human Resource Management and a bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science, both from Wilmington College.
She Jones currently resides in Springfield, Ohio.
