Ohio Dominican Welcomes New Faculty

COLUMBUS , OH — Ohio Dominican University is pleased to welcome the following new faculty members:
Lauri Lydy Reidmiller, Ph.D. joins the division of Theology, Arts and Ideas as an assistant professor of Art. Prior to joining Ohio Dominican, Reidmiller held teaching positions at The Ohio State University-Mansfield campus and Ashland University . She received a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and a master’s degree in Art Education, both from Miami University ; and a Ph.D. in Art Education from The Ohio State University. Dr. Reidmiller s a recipient of the Marantz Award from OSU’s Art Education Department. She is a volunteer for the Wexner Center for the Arts and a member of the National Art Education Association and Phi Kappa Phi. She is a resident of Columbus
Anna Parkman, Ph.D., is a new associate professor of Management and Organizational Behavior in the Division of Business. She has been teaching as an adjunct professor in the LEAD MBA program since 2004, and also serves as an adjunct professor for the online MBA program for American InterContinental University . She received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Social Work from Cedar Crest College ; an MBA from the University of Charleston ; and a Ph.D. in Organization and Management from Capella University . Dr. Parkman is a member of numerous professional organizations including the Academy of Management , the Association for Assessment in Higher Education, and Sigma Beta Delta. She resides in Galloway .
Shuo Liu has joined the division of Math, Computer and Natural Sciences as an assistant professor of Computer Science. Liu previously served as a course instructor and held teaching and research positions at the University of Pittsburgh. He received a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Chemistry and a master’s degree in Environmental Geography from Nanjing University in Nanjing , China . Liu recently completed his doctoral studies in Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh . He is a resident of Columbus
Matthew Conley is a new assistant professor of Education. He recently completed his Ph.D. in Education at The Ohio State University. Conley received a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a concentration on Mathematics, and a master’s degree in Early and Middle Childhood Education, both from The Ohio State University. He has received numerous awards, including the Oscar Wilde-Gertrude Stein Scholarship, the Schoenbaum Scholarship, and the Harold C. Miles Fellowship. Conley is a resident of Columbus.
Chad King, Ph.Dhas joined the faculty of the division of Math, Computer and Natural Sciences as an assistant professor of Environmental Science. He recently taught undergraduate and graduate courses in Aquatic Plants and the Environment at the University of Arizona . He received a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Eastern Mennonite University; a master’s degree in Environmental Science and a Ph.D. in Environmental Science, both from the University of Arizona. Dr. King is a member of the World Aquaculture Society, the United States Chapter of the World Aquaculture Society, and the North American Colleges and Teachers of Agriculture. King resides in Columbus.
