Omicron Tau Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi Installed at Ohio Dominican

COLUMBUS, OH –Delta Sigma Pi, a national business fraternity, initiated the Ohio Dominican University chapter, Omicron Tau, on Saturday, January 21. The chapter was initiated at Ohio Dominican, followed by an installation banquet at the Marriott Columbus Airport Hotel. Approximately 170 people were in attendance, including other DSP chapters, DSP alumni, family and friends.
After a three year process of formation, the Ohio Dominican Colony of Delta Sigma Pi applied for a charter in November of 2005, two months later, twenty-six current students, one alumna, and one professor, Dr. Jay Young, were initiated into Delta Sigma Pi. Representatives of the DSP national headquarters will present the official charter to Omicron Tau at the DSP Provincial Conference held February 17-20 at the Marriott Columbus Airport Hotel.
“This is a real milestone for our division and now represents one of the largest student organizations on campus,” said Assistant Professor, Acting Division Chair, and new DSP member, Dr. Young. “In the future, the Business Department hopes to partner with the chapter to sponsor speakers, business student events, and organizational tours.”
