Ohio Dominican Participates in Forum
January 11, 2006
COLUMBUS, OH – Ohio Dominican University will participate in a three-part program featuring Catholic, Jewish and Protestant perspectives on topics such as stem cell research, end of life decisions and intelligent design.
"Different faith traditions bring unique perspectives to issues of public policy. The February interfaith series offers a wonderful opportunity for us to learn from one another as we ascertain how we think about these critical issues," said Dr. Mary Todd, ODU’s Vice President for Academic Affairs.
The forums are a joint effort between Trinity Lutheran Seminary, the Columbus Jewish Federation, Ohio Dominican University, Wittenberg University
and the Leo Yassenoff Jewish Community Center. Each program will begin with an initial presentation by the featured speaker that will be followed by responses from the other two religious traditions.
