International Business
A major in International Business prepares a student for a career in organizations that conduct business beyond traditional domestic borders. Increasingly, the list of organizations connected to global markets is longer than the list of organizations that are not.
While the major focuses on the theoretical background in international trade and finance, courses offer practical applications in the fields of management, finance and marketing. The primary goal is to prepare students to understand, evaluate and suggest solutions to important international economic/business problems and issues facing the United States and the rest of the world.
Our graduates are employed in a broad group of multinational and global corporations, international banks, government agencies, and international organizations such as the United Nations, the World Bank, and the International Monetary Fund.
