Ohio Dominican University ’s Life Science/Chemistry Education program is a professional teaching major centered on Biology and Chemistry. Students in this program complete a rigorous curriculum that emphasizes not only scientific knowledge but also critical thinking and laboratory skills. The program has two options. One emphasizes biology more than chemistry, the other c hemistry more than b iology. Upon completion, teachers holding this dual field degree will be knowledgeable and effective teachers in Biology and Chemistry for grades 7-12.
