ODU's Mathematics program prepares graduates for careers in a variety of industries, including teaching, as well as for further study in graduate school.
Program highlights:
  • Major and minor available in Mathematics. Major also available in Integrated Mathematics Education.
  • Innovative teaching approaches such as The Flipped Classroom and One Room Schoolhouse allow increased interaction with instructors and a more personalized degree path.
  • Math majors can also work as Peer Tutors in ODU's Math Lab.

  • Internships
    Ohio Dominican is just minutes from downtown Columbus, where students have the opportunity to participate in one or more internships with a variety of companies and organizations. Central Ohio enjoys a diverse economy with many internship possibilities in the public, private, and non-profit sectors.

    Ohio Dominican's faculty and Career Development Center are eager to help interested students secure relevant internship experiences.
  • ODU's Math Lab
    At the Math Lab, students get free assistance with most ODU math courses numbered 240 and below. The Math Lab also assists with quantitative aspects of business and science courses. Students may also visit the lab with questions as they prepare for tests such as the Praxis Core, GRE and MCAT. 

    ODU Math majors can work as peer tutors in the Math Lab during the school year.
