The Library - Spangler Learning Center - is equipped with all the resources you need. Our faculty represent some of the top educators in their field, holding advanced and doctoral degrees from colleges and universities across the country. They bring ‘real-world’ experience to their classroom and students. They are dedicated to the success of each student, providing all students with individual attention and academic guidance. And since ODU classes average about 16 students in a classroom (not 300+ in an auditorium), getting that individual attention is much easier. Learn more about our Faculty from their own online biographies.
At ODU, we treat you as the unique individual you are - a name, a PERSON; not a number, file or statistic. You and your future are so important to us and we want to do all we can to help you succeed. At ODU, our small size means you have accessibility to staff, professors and administrators that just cannot compare to larger institutions. And that connectivity is what makes ODU feel like a community; not just a college.
