The Distinguished Alumni Award 2015 recognizes notable Ohio Dominican alumni from the current reunion years: Summer 2015 class years ending in '0 or '5 between 1945 and 1995.
This award celebrates alumni who have exemplified the mission of Ohio Dominican in order to showcase those who are a model for alumni and students of the University, demonstrates to prospective students the magnanimous graduate, and emboldens members of the ODU community to live a life seeking the highest good.
The Distinguished Alumni Award will recognize annually an outstanding alumnae or alumnus. A committee of alumni, faculty and staff will select the honoree from nominations submitted by the ODU community-at-large.

Namely, in accordance with the University mission statement, the award recipient shall demonstrate a commitment to intellectual, spiritual and professional growth; shall be a lifelong learner; has shown commitment to serving others in a global society as an ethical and effective leader; and shall be grounded in the pursuit of truth, justice and peace.
