Judith Stattmiller

Judy Stattmiller received her undergraduate degree in social work from the College of St. Mary of the Springs (now Ohio Dominican University) in 1958 and her Master of Social Work degree from The Ohio State University in 1962. Stattmiller coached girls' sports and taught special interest classes while pursuing her degree from OSU. Judy was responsible for the formation of several neighborhood organizations; the Linden Professional Workers Association and the Windsor Terrace Homes Council. She also established a neighborhood-based multi-service center and the Neighborhood Health Center. In addition to being named executive director of St. Stephen's Community House, she received The St. Vincent De Paul Oznam Award and the Walter & Marian English Award. She has been affiliated with the Franklin County Juvenile Delinquency Task Force, the White House Conference for Children & Youth, the White House Conference for families, and was a Delegate to Caritas Internationals. Judy has served as a member of the St. Peter's Parish since 1986 and currently serves on the Parish Council. Judy has two children and one grandson. Her mother, sister and brother are also all graduates.
