Gifts to endowment offer a solution because these gifts endure in perpetuity and can benefit a donor's special interests by assisting the university through charitable giving while at the same time gaining financial benefits for themselves and their families.
Endowments are permanent investment accounts that produce earnings each year for the receiving organization to use for unrestricted purposes or to fulfill the particular wishes of donors. An endowed fund can be established through gifts of cash, securities, real estate or personal property.
