    The Academic Resource Center is dedicated to helping students succeed and excel in their studies.  Located in the Spangler Learning Center, the Center's staff is comprised of professionals and students that provide tutorial assistance in writing, math, course-specific content, test preparation, and general study skills.

    The Center's mission is to support ALL ODU students in their effort to achieve academic success, realize their life goals, and become independent, self-directed, life-long learners.

    Test Preparation

    We provide materials and instruction to help students prepare for standardized tests such as the PPST, PLT, GRE, and LSAT.

    Academic Clinics

    We provide group clinics on a variety of topics such as critical reading, writing, time management, and test preparation. We create customized workshops for your group and are willing to present in classes. View our Spring 2012 Workshops.

    Review with a Peer

    For selected courses, peer leaders will meet regularly during scheduled group study sessions.  All students in the course are welcome to attend.  If you course is supported by RAP a peer leader will visit you course early in the semester to set up a group study schedule. Spring 2012 Schedule TBD 

    Academic Coaching
