2007-2008 Move In Information Packet
Wednesday, August 15 - 7 p.m.-10 p.m. Halls Open (Early check in for New Students only)
Thursday, August 16 - Noon – 6 p.m. New Students Move-In
Sunday, August 19 - 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Returning Students Move-In
THANKSGIVING BREAK
Wednesday, November 21 - Noon Halls Close; all students out
Sunday, November 25 - 10 a.m. Halls Open
SEMESTER ENDS
Friday, December 14 - Noon Halls Close for non-graduates
Sunday, December 16 - Noon Graduates Check-out
Sunday, January 20 - Noon – 4 p.m. New Students move in
Monday, January 21 - 10 a.m. Halls Open for returning students
SPRING BREAK
Saturday, March 15 - Noon Halls Close; all students out
Monday, March 24** - 10 a.m. Halls Open
SEMESTER ENDS
Friday, May 16 - Noon Halls Close for non-graduates
Sunday, May 18 - Noon Graduates Check-out; Halls close
Students will be able to remain in the halls for the smaller break:
Fall Break: Begins Oct. 13 after all classes- Oct. 17 all classes resume
*Students will not have access to the residence halls during times when the buildings are closed. Students need to make appropriate plans to vacate the residence halls by the times specified for each break. Access cards will be shut off when the residence halls are closed. Students will not be granted access to the residence halls prior to the move-in or opening dates and times indicated above. Please plan accordingly. Apartment residents may remain in their apartments over the break after notifying the Residence Life Office of their plans. Students who have a Saturday or weekend class that requires them to be on campus must notify the Office of Residence Life for hall access at least 72 hours in advance.
**Easter is the last Sunday of Spring Break, there is no Easter break in 2008.
