The Math Space is ODU’s walk-in math lab, located in room 206A of
Spangler Learning Center. The math specialists, who provide free mathematics
assistance for ODU students, are upperclassmen who have been recommended by ODU
faculty. Our goal is to help students to better understand mathematics.

*NOTE: As indicated in the ARC Policy Statement
for the Math Space, the role of the Math Learning Specialist
is to help you with the content, process, and abstract
visualization of the problem. That help, however, does
not guarantee a particular grade or instructor approval.
The party responsible for the quality of any assignment
is ultimately you, the student.
