Preparing for the Praxis
- The best way to prepare for the Praxis I and II examinations is to
follow the course of study recommended by the Division of Education
(614) 251-4623.
- The ARC regularly schedules workshops to help students prepare
for specific aspects of the Praxis exams. Please see the current
Workshop Schedule for dates and times.
- Preparation books, handouts, and practice exams are available
in the Academic Resource Center , Spangler 304.

- While the ARC provides information on question types and test taking
strategies, students who are experiencing stress, anxiety, and/or emotional
difficulties regarding the Praxis examination should contact the Director
of Counseling Services at (614) 251-4589.
- To take the Praxis on the computer, contact Prometric Testing Center
in Worthington (614) 431-2083 or the Ohio State University Testing Center
(614) 292-2241.
- If your native language is not English, and you would like to request
special accommodations while taking the Praxis exam, you should have the
Director of International Programs (614) 251-4645, sign a Certificate of
Documentation (available from ETS).
