Ohio Dominican University opened its state-of-the-art science building, Battelle Hall, on Aug. 27, 2010. Funding for construction of the 25,000-square-foot facility was made possible in part by a $2.5 million gift from Battelle, the world’s largest independent research and development organization. Battelle Hall’s features include seven instructional labs, three research labs, six core labs for state-of-the-art instruments, an autoclave, a cadaver lab, and collaborative workspace.
Aligning with our goal of campus sustainability, the energy efficient and daylight-filled building received LEED Gold Certification in 2011.
Saint Albert Hall has three levels spanning 22,000 square feet, and feature a clinical lab, cadaver lab, psychology lab, environmental science lab, lecture hall, computer science classroom, greenhouse, five general classrooms, two collaboration rooms and a lounge.
