Financial Aid for Graduate Students

Financial aid is available for graduate students in the form of Direct Unsubsidized Loans (non-need based). All graduate and professional students are considered independent.

In order to qualify, graduate students must be enrolled for at least 3 credit hours and not be in default on any previous student loans.

Filing Your FAFSA

  1. Apply for a PIN (Personal Identification Number) online at www.pin.ed.gov. If you already have a PIN from your undergraduate program, you will use the same PIN for graduate studies. You must have your PIN prior to completing the FAFSA. The PIN serves as your electronic signature on the FAFSA and will also serve as your signature on the Master Promissory Note (MPN).
  2. Complete the FAFSA online at www.fafsa.gov. All graduate students are considered independent for financial aid purposes. Ohio Dominican University’s school code is 003035.
  3. If this is your first time receiving a Direct Loan, complete the Entrance Loan Counseling and Master Promissory Note at www.studentloans.gov.

If you have any specific questions regarding financial aid for graduate studies, please contact Ohio Dominican University’s Financial Aid office at (614) 251-4778 or finaid@ohiodominican.edu.
