  • Top Tier Midwest University

For the third consecutive year, U.S. News & World Report has ranked Ohio Dominican University (ODU) in the top tier of colleges and universities in the Midwest in its 2015 “Best Colleges” list.

The magazine also ranked Ohio Dominican as one of the “Best Colleges for Veterans” in the Midwest.

U.S. News & World Report analyzes a number of factors in determining its annual list, including average freshman retention rate, average graduation rate and student-to-faculty ratio.

“We are proud that U.S. News & World Report has again selected Ohio Dominican University as one of the premier universities in the Midwest,” said ODU President Peter Cimbolic, Ph.D.

“This distinction reaffirms the excellent academic experience offered at ODU, and is a testament to our high-achieving students, faculty and alumni. ODU is experiencing immense positive momentum, and this designation by one of the most widely recognized resources for students and parents is evidence that our efforts are being noticed.”

ODU offers the “Best Continuing Education Offerings” according to readers of Columbus CEO magazine in its annual “Best of Business” survey.

Winners of the sixth annual readers’ survey were announced in the magazine’s November edition, published on Oct. 12, 2013.

“We take great pride in serving the greater Columbus area and providing our students the tools they need to enhance their knowledge and realize their full potential,” said ODU President Peter Cimbolic, Ph.D.

“It is exceedingly gratifying to know that our peers believe, and have faith in, our mission to offer a quality, comprehensive and respected education to learners of all ages and experiences.”

  • Top Return on Investment Institution

Ohio Dominican University (ODU) is one of the top institutions in the state when it comes to its lifetime return on investment (ROI) according to Affordable Colleges Online (ACO). ACO ranked ODU in the top 11 percent of Ohio colleges analyzed (40 of 389) for its “Highest ROI Colleges in Ohio” list.

ACO’s rankings are based on multiple criteria, including net tuition price, graduates’ average starting salaries, and whether the institution is a fully accredited, four-year, not-for-profit institution.

“We are proud that Affordable Colleges Online selected ODU as a top institution in Ohio with regard to its students’ lifetime return on investment, and recognizes ODU’s dedication to providing its students a quality, valuable and fulfilling education,” said ODU President Peter Cimbolic, Ph.D.
