Requesting Transcripts

Your ODU transcript is an academic record that list courses taken at Ohio Dominican and the grades received in those courses. The Registrar handles all requests for ODU transcripts and replacement diplomas.

Current students, alumni and former students may requests transcripts online or in person. Transcript requests are not accepted by telephone or e-mail.

How to Order Your Transcripts Online

Before a transcript will be released, a student's account must be clear of all fines and fees; loans must be in current status; and the financial aid exit interview must be on file (if applicable). In addition, the Ohio Dominican reserves the right to withhold the transcript of a student who has similar outstanding obligations at other institutions that participate in federal financial aid (Title IV) programs.

Current Students

  • Log in to your ODU online student account.
  • Under Academic Profile, click "e-Transcript Request."
  • On the next page, click "Request a Transcript." 
  • You'll be taken to the Transcript Request page and you will already be logged in.
  • From there, follow the steps to order your transcript, direct where it should be sent, provide consent for ODU to send your transcript and pay for your order.

Delivery Methods & Fees

ODU official transcripts include Ohio Dominican University's logo and verification, and can be delivered electronically, by mail (mailed versions are printed on ODU transcript paper), or in person during a walk-in visit.

Some important things to remember:

  • All transcript requests must include payment (online requests are processed with a credit or debit card, walk-in requests may be paid with cash, check, or money order, in addition to credit or debit card).
  • Transcripts will not be held for grades or graduation.
  • Standard delivery of mailed transcripts is by first-class U.S. Mail.
  • All request must be made online or in person; the Registrar's office cannot take transcript requests over the phone or via email.

*Walk-In Requests
You may request a copy of your transcript in person by visiting the Registrar's Office in Erskine Hall, room 142. Please bring a photo ID and payment. Acceptable forms of payment in person include cash, check, money order, credit or debit card.
 

Transcript Holds and Release to Prospective/Current Employers

If you have a transcript hold but need to send an official transcript to a prospective or current employer as a condition of employment, please have the HR department send a letter or email to the Business Office. The letter/email must state the transcript is a requirement for employment. If you are in the military, the request must be on military branch letterhead and must state the transcript is required for advancement. Transcripts will be released directly to employers or military branch office. Students/former students will be notified when the hold has been removed.
