Why did you choose to attend Ohio Dominican University?
I chose to attend Ohio Dominican University after visiting the campus and experiencing the friendly, warm atmosphere. I loved that it was a small, Catholic university, that it had a small class sizes and campus, and that everyone seemed genuinely interested in helping students. I also had motivation to attend ODU because many of my family members have graduated from here, including my grandmother and great grandmother when it was known as College of St. Mary of the Springs.

How have you stayed involved at ODU?
Over the past four years, I have been involved in Student Senate and Panthers for Peace. These experiences have helped me gain leadership skills and become more involved on campus.

What is your most memorable moment at ODU?
My most memorable moment from my time at Ohio Dominican was the opportunity I had to participate in a spring break study abroad trip to Rome, Italy. It was an incredible and awe-inspiring trip which reaffirmed my decision of going to law school after graduating.

What are your plans after graduation?
After I graduate, I will be attending the University of Toledo's College of Law in the fall. I am interested in their Intellectual Property Law program as my interests lie in art law.

What is one unique experience you’ve had at ODU that has helped you grow personally, professionally and/or spiritually?
When I first started at ODU, I hadn’t yet decided on a major. My classes and professors helped me discover what I was passionate about and what I wanted to do in the future. This university has an amazing, helpful, and caring faculty and staff. Because of these people, especially Dr. Janette Knowles, I was able to examine my interests and discover the possibility of art law.

Why are you proud to be an ODU student?
I am proud to be an ODU student because this school and its alumni are full of kind, helpful, and generous people. ODU is a beautiful school with a wonderful history and I have enjoyed my four years here tremendously.
