The Baccalaureate Mass is a traditional Catholic mass held prior to commencement ceremonies.  This year’s Baccalaureate Mass will be a traditional Catholic Mass similar to a Sunday Catholic worship service.  There will be no academic component to the celebration.  No one should wear academic attire to Baccalaureate Mass.  More specifically, the University in the past has held an academic hooding ceremony as part of the Baccalaureate Mass.  This academic hooding ceremony will now take place during the Commencement Ceremony later that day rather than at the worship service.  All students and families are invited to participate in the Baccalaureate Mass at 8:30am in Matesich Theatre, May 17, 2008  but no one is required to participate.

Continental breakfast will be available compliments of Ohio Dominican University immediately following the Baccalaureate Mass in the Matesich Theatre lobby.
