Guests with Special Needs

If you or a guest(s) require handicapped parking, please make sure your stat-issued handicapped placard is visible or your vehicle has state-issued handicapped license plates. This allows the Columbus police officers to direct you to the correct parking area.

If your guest(s) require special seating arrangements, please call (614) 251-4595 to make this request. If someone would like to sit with the person you are making arrangements for, please make the request at this time. A letter stating that a spot has been reserved for your guest(s) in the handicapped seating section will be attached to your tickets when you pick them up. If Commencement is held in Alumni Hall due to inclement weather, please remember that every person will need a ticket. The letter is only to inform the ticket takers that the guest has reserved seating.

If your guest(s) are hearing impaired, please call (614) 251-4595 to request seating near the interpreters who will be signing the ceremony. A letter stating that a spot has been reserved for your guest(s) near the interpreters will be attached to your tickets when you pick them up. Again, if Commencement is held in Alumni Hall due to inclement weather, every person will need a ticket. The letter is only to inform the ticket takers that the guest has seating near the interpreters.
